On Tuesday 16 October 2018, the Chichester Cathedral organised an Interfaith panel discussion. Chichester Vedic Cultural Society approached the Chinmaya Mission London for a representative to speak on behalf of Hinduism.

The panel discussion was about the question, ‘What are the root causes of conflict and violence, and how do we overcome them?’

Speakers include Rabbi de Beck Spitzer (Hove Hebrew Congregation), Brahmacharini Shripriya (Chinmaya Mission UK), Imam Uthman (Al-Medinah Mosque, Brighton) and The Reverend Canon Ann Waizeneker (Dean for Women’s Ministry, Diocese of Chichester).

It made for a thoughtful afternoon for all those who attended to hear all panellists speak from their faith’s point of view. CVCS was particularly appreciate of Brahmacharini Shripriya, who at such a young age displayed much wisdom and clarity in thought.

CVCS hopes to develop a relationship with the Chinmaya Mission, London so they can further inspire meaningful content in future cultural and spiritual events.
